At Village Kids, we aim to provide a fun environment for your children as they learn about Jesus in a fresh and inspiring way. We don’t view Village Kids as babysitting—we view it as opportunities to relationally and spiritually invest in the futures of our children.
Keeping our kids safe is our top priority. We background check all of our Village Kids volunteers, and we ensure that they all understand our safety and security policies and procedures.
Currently, we divide kids up into three age groups: small people (ages 0-5), elementary (grades K-5th), and youth (grades 6th-12th). Since the pandemic has started, we have not held any in-person kids classes in our church building. Instead, all of our events have been online or outdoors. Here’s what we have going on!
Small People Play Time happens every Saturday at 10am, usually at the Linkwood Park playground (though sometimes we switch things around!). This is a fun time for kids ages 0-5, their families, and anybody else who wants to hang out with kids, to hang out with one another in an outdoor context. This has been a great way to meet folks in the church. Please contact Teresa at [email protected] for more details.
We have an elementary Bible study every Sunday at 11:30am over Zoom. We do not publicly post the Zoom Meeting IDs for any of our kids activities, but you can contact Teresa at [email protected] if you’d like to join.
We have a youth Bible study every Sunday at 11:30am, and we have youth game nights about once every two months—all over Zoom. We do not publicly post the Zoom Meeting IDs for any of our kids activities, but you can contact Kristi at [email protected] if you’d like to join.
