Partners in Mission

We believe that the mission of the church is much bigger than our local church. Therefore, we strive to partner with other ministries or organizations that are doing great work. Here are some local organizations that some of our church members volunteer with, as well as some global ministries that we support.

LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS

10:12 Sports The mission of 10:12 sports is to create mentoring opportunities and jobs for youth through athletics. 10:12 sports empowers our neighborhood church partners and indigenous male leaders to mentor youth through Christ, developing servant leaders, healthy lifestyles and successful decision makers.
Hampden Elementary/Middle School Hampden Elementary/Middle is a historic Baltimore City public school located just a few blocks away from our church building. When the school hosts volunteering or fundraising events, we often try to encourage our church to participate.
Hampden Family Center The Hampden Family Center is a community center that serves the Hampden area through education, community, and professional support. Our mercy ministry often partners with the center to provide assistance to people in financial need.
Johns Hopkins International Fellowship JHIF is an international community that brings Johns Hopkins-affiliated people of different backgrounds together to explore the Christian faith.
Thread Thread engages underperforming high school students confronting significant barriers outside of the classroom by providing each one with a family of committed volunteers and increased access to community resources.
